Musings with a cat in my lap

I won't go into the misery of shopping on the day before Halloween! Children everywhere.It took hours longer than planned but I got my costume.Came home and started putting up my decorations on the porch.What shows up but a small kitten! Maybe 6 weeks old.A gray tabby just like Violo.I asked all the trick or treators and their parents about him but only one kid recognized him.Unfortunately his mom did not know what he was talking about.And although they said they would tell the people I had him and they are only 1 street over, no one has come to claim him.So Candice is adopting him today.She is really excited and my cats will be glad to have him gone.I'll post a picture of him later if possible.He is soooo cute!
